Get Action Plans Drawn Up For 2010!
: |
November and December will be ideas months at Catapult PR as the consultancy pulls together a variety of creative proposals to get clients into the headlines both before Christmas and throughout 2010.
Some action plans are already in place for the start of the year and January will be a crucial month for many clients, with many trade shows for the 2010 retail and fashion season being staged in January and February 2010.
Plans for new clients will also start to be implemented, offering exciting opportunities for the year ahead.
The last month has been a busy one thanks to events such as Halloween, new product launches and copywriting for various retail newsletters and publications. Catapult even managed to experience the Ullswater Steamers red deer day at first hand, rather than just writing about it.
The most recent coup has been getting the international market, due in Kendal on November 18 and until November 22, as one of the ‘things to do in the week ahead’ in the Daily Telegraph.
A festival could also be publicised by one of the country’s biggest children’s TV programmes, which is showing great interest at present.
Product sampling will be on the agenda for the next two weeks and another wave of activity will be focused on the Christmas gifts market, as well as travel editors wanting to write about the best Christmas experiences (did we mention that Times Online are already interested in one of those????)
Catapult PR’s managing director, Jane Hunt, says: “This is a really crucial time for many clients and anyone wishing to get a good start to 2010 needs to be planning their activity now, putting in place the stepping stones that will lead to money entering the cash registers.”
Catapult will also be encouraging businesses – particularly professional and financial services organisations – to spice up their PR activity and make the most of the experience of a public relations consultancy with a great track record in services PR and copywriting for newsletters and brochures.
“Solicitors, in particular, should be generating positive news messages about their experience and successes on behalf of clients”, says Jane Hunt.
Motoring and motorcycling companies looking for creative and highly successful PR will also be on Catapult’s radar during the next few months, to sit alongside a new client in this sector. The consultancy is also hopeful to start working with farms again, as it tackles some farm tourism initiatives.
