:: Hot Off The Press :
Pie Tourism has made the headlines since Catapult issued a release to promote the Western Lake District and the magnificent range of pies served at the Gosforth Hall Inn.

The news is already spreading across the internet just a day after its release and will be appearing in Cumbria Life soon and who knows where else!

Talking of pies … The Ship At Elswick is also making the headlines during National Pie Week, as it too lays on some tasty treats. The next dinner and live music evening should also prove a media winner.

Lots of outdoor things-to-do in Cumbria should be highlighted in the national travel pages soon. Catapult was contacted for advice and has passed on tons of great story angles, so let’s watch the papers and see what results.

Catapult has also provided some great story angles for a research project within the health sector. We can’t wait to find out what peps up the Brits sex life. Actually, Jane has been using it for a week now, though she’s pretty sure there’s no danger of it making her totally irresistible.

Marmalade Festival coverage is still pouring in, giving us a bit of a headach when it comes to evaluation. There’s just so much of it!

Our business net could be spreading in the coming weeks, with Jane packing her bags for the SW (well actually just driving there and back in a day) and other things also in the pipeline that would further extend our geographical reach. This just proves people come to us for our talents rather than because we’re nearby.

Retail press sampling is currently producing a wave of requests for product, pics and comps. Happy to do the same for anyone in the fashion or retail world.

Our next wave of newsletter writing and production will soon be starting, with two editions already in the diary for later this month. Anyone wanting a high impact newsletter should contact Jane on 01253 595558 or 07711 628661.
