Catapult PR is an expert at creating news, as well as maximising the potential of ‘real’ news. National TV programmes are one source of inspiration and Catapult will be tapping into the huge interest in ‘The Lakes’ programme, as well as focusing on lambing – recently brought to life by TV presenter Kate Humble.

Other things in the pipeline include Easter and the consultancy has devised a range of creative ways to tie into that theme, on behalf of its clients.

Food-related themes are also being used at present, pies being the latest example of this. Catapult’s ‘pie tourism’ concept has really been popular with the press, making a real difference for one Cumbrian village.

Some clients will be returning from the Best of Britain and Ireland Show this week, whilst others are setting off for exhibitions such as the Vitality Show, in London. Creative press packs have been created which should catch the eye of those using the press offices.
