You Can’t Stand Still
You can’t stand still; you have to evolve. I’ve always believed that in business and I had lunch with a former client last year and she actually came out with those words. There’s going to be a lot of evolution over the next few months, as I enter a new phase of my life and that has its impact on what I do with my career.
At this moment in time, everything’s up in the air. It needs someone with a wise business head to come along and seize the day, but I have no idea who that will be. The winner will take it all, that’s for sure.
While the evolution is going on, I’m desperately hoping to hear soon from my amazing community involvement contact – partly because I find he’s a great motivator and inspirer! If he can pull the right strings, we could be embarking on the journey of a lifetime. That would be an amazing interlude. I’m taking care of myself, as instructed, until I hear his news.
Tomorrow’s going to be an adventure too – heading off into uncharted territory and spending around 6 hours on the road, which won’t do my poor whiplashed neck much good, but I’ll have to manage. Needs must!
Whether things will change before mid July is debateable, but if they don’t I’ll pick up the threads at the end of July. Nothing happens unless you make it happen and unless you can find people who can share your vision. That’s what I’ll be working on like crazy now.
