Catapult PR Brings 9th Award of 2021 Back to Blackpool
Catapult PR has become a 50-award-winning PR agency, having won a half-century of PR awards since its foundation in Lancashire in 1998, with the latest being a Prolific North Marketing Award for Best PR Campaign.
The success in these northern marketing awards, open to all agencies and in-house marketing departments across the north, handling all types of marketing brief, has made it a magnificent haul of 9 awards in total for Catapult PR during 2021. Two of these have been national, two northern and five regional.
It was back-to-back wins in the Prolific North Marketing (previously Northern Marketing Awards) when it came to the Best PR Campaign title, which Catapult also scooped in 2020, as one of three wins at the event.
This year, Catapult actually had two campaigns shortlisted for Best PR Campaign, with one also being shortlisted for best B2B campaign and Best Financial Services campaign. However, the winner of the Best PR Campaign title proved to be Catapult PR’s travel and tourism PR campaign for Langley Castle Hotel in Northumberland. That has made it four awards won for Langley Castle in a year and a national finalist position in the CIPR Excellence Awards 2021 for the Travel, Tourism and Leisure PR Campaign of the Year.
Catapult PR’s managing director, Jane Hunt, says: “We have further cemented our position as the most successful PR agency in Lancashire and continued with a record of achievement that is just phenomenal. We have also further underlined our credentials in travel PR – something that you would think would stand us in good stead, as we are a Blackpool-based PR firm. With so much happening in Blackpool tourism, including new visitor attractions in Blackpool, you would hope we would be a name on the pitch list and be trusted to use our skills, creativity and contacts to entice those who wish to visit Blackpool.
“2021 has been an incredible year for us, full of exciting campaigns, results and content. What we do next, however, is the key thing.
“We are extremely proud to have now won 50 awards – we just need a new trophy cabinet now or, as some of our suppliers have suggested, a whole room dedicated to our awards, not to mention over 80 finalists’ certificates!”
